About Us

We’re the best data equity training out there. Seriously, ask around.

“There’s this idea that turning up the equity dial means turning down the quantitative science dial. Nope. They are the same dial.”

— Heather Krause

We All Count is the global leader in quantitative data equity training and consulting. Our Data Equity Framework is the most practical and universally applicable approach to aligning mathematical and human priorities. Since 2012, based in Toronto, Canada, we have trained over 52,000 data practitioners globally.

Our organization is led by founder Heather Krause,  a mathematical statistician with more than 20 years of experience working across government, philanthropy, education, tech, health, and the social sector. Heather is one of fewer than 200 PStat-accredited statisticians globally and a Knight Foundation award-winner for innovative data use in communities. While in the field, Heather developed ways to work with data that were technically rigorous, ethically grounded and socially responsible. That experience became the Data Equity Framework, now used by data practitioners, governments, foundations, universities, nonprofits, and companies around the world.

Our Values

Practical

At We All Count, we don’t make recommendations that we can’t back up with tools, processes, documentation, and workflows. When we train you in a new way of thinking about your data choices, it comes with real ways to reflect that thinking and immediately improve your work.

Partnership

We know that for these improvements to be sustainable, you need someone who sticks around. We All Count’s commitment to meaningful partnership is the foundation of our incredible level of client satisfaction and accounts for our 80%+ rate of word-of-mouth referrals.

Our commitment to community building through our weekly Talking Data Equity sessions, the Data Equity Forum, and more has created a robust network of data professionals and training alumni from around the world, making an increasing impact across a dozen sectors every day.

Positive

We strongly believe in celebrating all steps towards better science and deeper fairness. Rather than getting paid to criticize flaws in unavoidable compromises, we operate under a framework that rewards the time and attention you invest in addressing these issues. We don’t believe in setting your priorities; we believe in high-fiving you after we’ve helped you achieve them.
